Hello Michelin, We are the proud owners of a 1993 Honda GL1500, which we have had for 6 years now and usually travel about 6 to 8,000 miles a year (summer season only). Until this year we have changed the tyres during every winter service usually because they had "cupping" . However in March this year we decide to change to a different tyre and fitted a new set of Michelin Pilot GT's .

We have always loved riding our Goldwing but the change to Pilots has transformed our riding experience from what was a good ride to a fantastic ride. As these tyres run at a lot less pressure that the previous ones (which we ran at a higher pressure to try and prevent cupping)  it is a more confortable ride and as my partner, Denise, has osteo arthritis a softer
ride is important. Not only that but the Goldwing does not "track" (ie follow lines in the road) and feels very secure in handling, both in the
dry and the wet (not that we ride much in the wet if we can help it !).

The even better news, for us, is that as we prepare to lay the bike up for the winter service, the tyres still look good enough for another season, despite doing almost 10,000 miles this year, thus a saving over over £200 !

In conclusion, the Michelin Pilot GT's are simply the VERY best tyre for the GL1500, giving a smoother, softer and longer lasting ride. We are delighted with these fantastic tyres and send our thanks to all at Michelin for a truly magnificent product.
